The storm is one of the most refined bikes out there and I never truely understood how sensational this bike was until I jumped on one. The performance, tech and build quality in this machine is second to none and unrivalled, you can really see some serious years of development has gone into this one. The removable battery, reverse and slip reduction are all well thought out little features that make this bike more functional in scenarios you never thought were needed. With the fast charger I’ve been able to achieve a full days riding with a top up charge over lunch no worries. If your looking at one of these you will not be disappointed.

Surron Storm Bee has replaced the postie, buggy and dirt bike overnight. It’s easy, light, quick and fun. Oh and quiet. Got too many neighbors now on the farm.
Only issue is keeping my kid off it…

An issue that can be corrected is that my new Storm Bee had a very tight drive chain with no slack. My main problem that after only120 k my rear disc was blue black hot and on further inspection a mechanic friend found that the brake piston return adjustment grub screw was not allowing the rear brake any free play at all. I noticed this first up but put it down to all new parts needing wearing in. Wrong and after a new set of pads and three hours looking for any problem and about to give up we tried one last resort and bingo problem solved. It might be good policy to advise new owners to check all these adjustments out before riding and not assume it’s new and all’s well. Cheers Rod Davies
